Alex Jorgensen came out of Stockton, California, riding a 250cc Can-Am as a novice, then his father's shop's Triumph as a junior before graduating to the famous Ron Wood Nortons, where he was an Ascot terror. In fact, Alex was probably the last person to win an AMA National on a Norton, as well as on a BSA. He was also one of a handful of people who won Nationals in all forms of dirt track racing. He had a racing brother, Kem, as well as a cousin, Toby, who lost his life at a National in Texas in the late 1990s. Click here to view Alex Jorgensen's photos. Below is his AMA National win list.
